The idea of identity is an interesting one and is quite complex. Who you are reflex both how you see yourself and how others see you. Both of which are relevant when it comes to your digital identity. You knew the concept about it but what is really digital identity mean? According to my research on

digital identity is a permanent collection of data about you that is available online.
Consider all of the data about you that is online. What is on social media, your pages, other's pages, do you feel that the information and images on say Instagram or Facebook represent who you are? Are you ready with the people judgment about you by just seeing your desperate caption for example?
What if another person competing for an opportunity or scholarship or job against you had establish a positive digital presence? They've got only positive photos and comments on social media or a blog that they publish regularly representing their thoughts on issues related to what he/she believe. They created descent e-portfolio about themselves. If you have something good about you to share to the world why then you prefer to post something say negative things about your weird exboyfriend? If you have the opportunity to let other people judge you "online", is that really worthy to post
outrageous things nobody care?
In my opinion about how Indonesian youth nowadays use all the platform for creating their digital identity has disappoint me to the fullest and it make me kind of sick, really. I thought that with all of this technology, we all can be one powerful source for this nation. We all can at least smarter by all of the tech facilities helping us to study something. And for now this is what i concern about. How this all social media can empower Indonesian youth identity.
You have the opportunity to create your digital identity by joining and optimizing your presence on social networks like Facebook, twitter, Instagram,to make it easy for people to learn about you. You have your brain to think about keeping things private that should be private. Why should you care about all this stuff? Well it's important that you realize that your digital identity isn't just a footprint you're leaving on a web. It's much more like a tattoo. A permanent documentation of you. So be sure to create a digital tattoo that you'll be proud of for years to come.

I always remeber this quote from
- Arnold Schwarzenegger : When you're out there partying, horsing around, someone out there at the same time is working hard, someone is getting smarter, and somebody is winning, just remember that.
So whenever I feel lazy or just want to having fun wasting time or less motivated, I always motivate my self that someone out there is busy train him/herself to become better. I take everyday as a competition. I dont know who I compete with but I want to be THAT person who become better everyday by consistently doing what s/he passionate about and eventually become a usefull person in the society. One small stuff starting from : I do care about my digital tattoo, my footprints, my personal branding. I want people to acknowledge me as a person who value knowledge.
